bruno Sashi Uetake
Bruno was born near Mt. Fuji, and grew up in the Tokyo Area in Japan.  He started going to an atlier in Tokyo when he was four.

He started painting in his twenties when he moved to Chicago with his then-wife Emily from Washington, DC. where he had completed his MBA.

He needed to balance himself by painting rather than allowing to be consumed by Corporate America.

During his days in Chicago, he would paint mostly non-Japanese subjects with vivid colors.

He now paints mostly Japanese male figures, which are a reflection of himself.  This current paintings use much fewer colors.
